My Operating system crashed How can i tell which one is master i have 2 TB of video on the 2nd drive and do not won`t to lose it. How can i tell

Solution
SATA is not using master and slave but to find which drive is the OS drive, simply unplug 1 and restart, if it try to start windows and crash the drive connected is the OS drive, if this isn't the OS drive that is still connected, it'll give you an error message like Bootmgr is missing or NTDLR is missing, etc... Then you'll know which is the OS drive (and don,t worry you won't lose anything by doing this)

it'll be a fantastic thing to have an SSD for windows and a Data drive as you'll have room for things as room in SSD isn't a cheap solution... just make sure when you'll install windows to have only the SSD plugged in as windows installation make files on all HDD/SSD plugged-in at the install process (boot on one hdd and windows on the other) it'll also ensure that you won't format your HDD with video by error ;)

spawnKiller; Thanks for the Info i will. The MOBO has some fairly simple Settings in the Bios if you can beleive the user manual. I bought the ASUS Sabertooth 990 Fx R2.O Gen-2 And the AMD fx 8350. EZ-Bios seems simple enough straight forward, With usb flash back button, Still have to get a new O/S and i am ready to go. I have the power supply thermaltake 850 P/S, Nivida 560 video card corsair vengance 16 gb 1600 mhz from my old system if this thing works ill up grade if necessary I would liked to have gone with the Z77 and Intell CPU, But for my first build if i Destroy the board and processor the loss is under 500.00.
