I just want to say I've been lurking and studying these posts for the past few months now, I love this site! Very helpful people who appreciate technology and help dumb people like me understand it a little better each day.

I've had my current computer for about 5 years now. When I first got it I was 15 years old and was so excited because I've never had my own computer before and my mom let me put it in my room. It was on sale for about $450 (monitor/keyboard/mouse included) so I saved up Christmas/Birthday money for it. Now that I'm more into gaming I realize... it is total crap, but it got me through what I wanted to play at the time.
Old Comp Specs:
-Intel Pentium Dual Core 2.2 Ghz (Feel free to cringe)
-3gb RAM (Average back then for pre-built computers)
-512mb GeForce 220 Graphics Card (It was an on-board card till I bought that)

Now being a young and idiotic teenager I used to be that person who loved Nvidia and Intel and always thought AMD was crap because it wasn't as well known, kind of like how Apple users think it's the best product ever. But then I realized, yes it's a great product, but a little bit overpriced, and learned about CyberpowerPC, and the ability to customize your own computer for SO FREAKING CHEAP!

The reason I'm telling you all this is because it's 5 a.m and I can't sleep right now. My new computer is coming in today and I am so excited. Having a job now I was able to afford the computer I wanted within my budget. Here's the build and I am looking forward to it.

Price for computer was $1136 and came with Tomb Raider & Bioshock Infinite for free!

- I hope I did okay for my first build, I did a lot of research because they were offering free upgrades for the FX-8350, and found out its very on par with the i7 but way cheaper.

Overclocking question: With these components, am I able to overclock the CPU and GPU by roughly 10-15% without it overheating?

Yea a lot of people seem to like the 990 on here... I ordered this computer almost a month ago now though but sometime in the future I will definitely take consideration in ordering that motherboard, because I also plan on doing Crossfire 7870 when I get the money. Do you think it's possible to OC the CPU and GPU by 10% though as opposed to maxing out? or is it not worth risking

Okay great, I might just start off with OC'ing the GPU until I get a new motherboard, then OC the CPU, either way I'm really excited. I also appreciate you taking the time to read my post have a good day!
