My computer runs "AMD Processor E2-1800 Accelerated Processor 1.70GHz, 1MB L2 Cache" and I can play The Sims 3 base game and five expansion packs just fine. Your computer should be able to play at least the base game and one expansion. Start out with the base game with no mods and see how it plays with the graphics (in game) turned down to lowest. If it plays fine than add an expansion and see how that plays. Keep in mind to save space if you want to add downloads and custom content.
