Obviously this is a laptop and what are the cpu specs...GHz?
If your over 2GHz then you should be ok just have to play with graphics settings to get the best frames/second out of it.

That processor is terrible, it can probably barely run the calculator.

Just barely, as that specific CPU doesn't have the processing power for the game.
I would get a better computer for the game.
