Which Power Supply would you choose? I'm confused on which one to get...either this http://www.ebuyer.com/429987-corsair-cx-series-cx-750m-... or http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/components/powersupp...

Novatech told me that OCZ manufactures their power supplies but is rebranded as Novatech. Both same price or similar and both are 750W.

Thanks!

Corsair will offer you guaranteed performance, not that i'm saying that Novatech is bad but at least 1 year warranty more should go in Corsair favor. Corsair, definetely.

latley me and some others are not recommending the cx series of corsairs. its a bargain brand of corsair where they outsourced their capacitor maker to a cheap chinese company. fine for a old athlon and a 5450/610 gpu but not for i5 builds and 78xx gpu's. seasonic and xfx have some great sales on now.

Seasonic is the same brand as Corsair...just under a different name , also XFX have sales but their quality of Power Supplies are terrible

My recommend list are antec, Be Quiet!, corsair, fsp, nzxt, seasonic, silverstone, and xfx. xfx are seasonic power supplies, Corsair psu other than cx and ax i are seasonic, nzxt are seasonic and fsp psu, evga uses fsp, silverstone make their own which are good, Antec's higher end stuff is good, Be Quiet dark power pro 10's are the best power supplies on the market(very pricey). Seasonic or Fsp are very good power supply makers and they are commonly used by psu re-branders.

OCZ doesn't manufacture PSUs. It's all contracted out to various OEMs.

The Novatech PowerStation Black Edition 750W Silent is made by High Power (Sirtec) based on their HP-750-G14C platform and is the same one also used by the OCZ Fatal1ty OCZ750FTY.

So is HighPower any good? I have seen people recommending OCZ but I have yet add it to my short list of recommended PSU. Antec, Corsair, PC Power and Cooling, Seasonic, XFX.

OCZ bought up PC Power & Cooling back in 2007 but kept it as a separate company to take advantage of the reputation that PC Power & Cooling had built.

The PC Power & Cooling Silencer MK II Series models are all made by High Power (Sirtec).

High Power (Sirtec) is nowhere near the quality reputation level that Seasonic has though.

Unless this has changed, Sirtec only makes the Silencer MK II series. Seasonic and Superflower make most of PCPC PSU's. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/power-supply-oem-ma...
