I am wondering if my computer has a slot for gtx 650 or gtx 650ti (can't decide) My computer model is the lenovo ideacentre k320 with 6gb ram, i3 550 @3.20ghz, hd integrated graphics (that's why i'm getting a gpu) So, can I put a gtx 650 or 650ti in my computer??? Any help would be greatly appreciated

there aren't any motherboards supporting an i3-550 which won't have a PCI-e slot. The only other issue would be that you should know you will probably require a new power supply as well, as an OEM power supply will likely not be sufficient, if you can, open up your computer and read the label of your power supply and tell us what it is rated at (total wattage) and how many Amps are on the 12 V rail (or the total wattage of the 12v rail(s)).

It will also need a single 6 pin PCI-E connector to power the gtx 650 (both Ti or non ti versions require this)

Ya, i know I need a better psu, i'm going to get a 430w corsair builder, but if there are cheaper, just as safe options I am open to them

the corsair is fine, but the only thing is my younger brother has it and it makes an almost inaudible high pitched noise when the computer is off...it would only be a slight issue if you sleep near the computer, but the problem is solved in a second by turning the PSU off from the back or just unplugging it ... but it's annoying. I googled it and other people have heard this too.

Where are you buying this stuff from? newegg.com?
