Im running Windows 7 Ultimate. i7 920, 24gb ram.

I had a 1TB WD Black HDD drive. My OS is on 128GB ssd, however all my programs are installed on the 1tb.

I started having issues with videos stuttering/skipping and games randomly freezing for a few seconds. Chkdsk reported it had bad sectors. I purchased a new 1TB WD Black. Using Symantec Ghost i cloned the data to the new drive. The new drive is having the same stuttering issues with videos. Also games are having the same issues. IF i copy a movie to the SSD, it runs fine.

So then windows says the drive has errors and recomends CHKDSK on the brand new drive. I ran chkdsk, here is the log:

"Chkdsk was executed in read/write mode.

Not sure how to make sense of this. I know bad sectors dont clone, but the data may have been corrupted. However if thats true, then why would the videos run fine on the SSD when copied over? Also if the new drive just needs to be formatted and start fresh, is there a way to clone it without these problems copying over?
