Hey all,
Recently I started to have problems with my radeon hd 4870. I was using a dual display setup, one being an Asus vh222h and the other being a vizio television. A couple weeks ago the monitor stopped receiving signal, even when it was the only display connected. Whats odd is that the TV works everytime when its connected, but I cant get the monitor to display anything. A couple days ago the TV stopped working for a brief moment, and I took the chance to try the monitor again. It displayed a cursor for a few seconds then showed the no signal screen. I tested the monitor with an Xbox 360 and an Apple tv so I'm fairly confident it still works. I have also tested it with a Samsung Syncmaster 930b.
I just went out and purchased a radeon hd 7850 to see if the problem was my old videocard, but I still can't get signal on any of my monitors. I have tried reseting the bios but still no luck. Help?
