Im trying to setup dual monitors. I have the AMD radeon 6670 hd and it has an hdmi port, vga, and dvi. Im already using the vga for my primary and i have an hdmi to vga cable for my second monitor. Both monitors work but i cant get them to work at the same time because it seems like vga port is the only one working. The hdmi is not being detected. how can i fix this? please ask any additional info if needed.

I think that the problem is that on your monitor you cant use VGA and HDMI at the same time on your screens, meaning even though the HDMI has an adapter on it, in your system it still sees the port as being HDMI not VGA so on your monitor if you go to Menu or settings or whatever try setting it to HDMI and see if the other monitor is working. If that makes any sense. I don't have much experience with dual monitors except from what i have seen, which isn't a lot. Reply if this works at all or if you have any more questions.

and how would you do that. ive tried using the control center, which is AMD VISION engine control center, but i havent seen an option to force detect.
