Hey guys, earlier I had my PC lying on it's side, my phone was plugged in via USB at the back, I needed the torch from it and grabbed my phone and moved it. There was a flash of light from the area of where the USB port was, my PC switched off and the fuse box tripped a switch which stopped all plug sockets from working.
I've determined so far that the PSU is dead by doing the paperclip test.
Just wondering if anyone has experienced anything like this before, I mean if it wasn't the USB that caused it, the only other thing in that part is the CPU power lead. I'm sending the PSU to Corsair tomorrow to be RMA'd and won't be able to find out if anything else is damaged thill then. Anyone have any thoughts on this, whether other parts may be damaged, causes, Oh and if anyone knows how long an RMA takes with Corsair that'd be great!
