Detailed explanation for overclocking my E7500 @ 2.99GHz

PC Specs :-

Motherboard - Intel DG41WV
Intel Core 2 DUO E7500(2.99GHz)

And also please suggest which CPU heatsink I should use on this.

You cannot OC with that mobo. The Intel G41 is basic, and does not allow overclocking through the Bios, which is what your looking for. You may be able to OC using software like Clockgen, but this is hit and miss, and can be very unstable.

Your more or less stuck with what you have. Only way you'll get any substantial performance gain, will be to upgrade your system. You could always pop in another LGA775 CPU, but in my mind that is a waste of time and money.
