Best motherboard for i5 3570k?

Hi I'm looking to get (a friend is going to build) a gaming computer with an i5 3570k processor. I have got the graphics card, case, hard drive, disk drive, processor and memory sorted, but I don't know about the motherboard. So far it's this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-Motherboard-CrossFireX-Intelligent-Processors/dp/B007KZQE7Q/ref=pd_bxgy_computers_text_y

Is it possible to get cheaper and better?

It is a nice mobo, but it depends on the games and uses whether it is the best selection.

I like ASRock's Extreme 4 or Extreme 6 mobos. Also their OC version for extreme OCing. But that is to my taste and not necessarily on the quality. But for most mobos ASRock beats on features /price.

Shop around and you will find a better bargain, but that mobo is a good one.

So for BF3 and hopefully BF4 (also for running other games alike) both the ASRock and the ASUS would be good? I have seen nearly everyone on this forum recommends the ASRock, does that mean they are the best?
  3. I I'm getting a i7-3770K, and I was first looking at the i5. But the one I'm getting is an ASUS SABERTOOTH LGA 1155 Intel Z77.

Its $240 but it also has thermal plating which helps drop temperatures by a lot. My friend saw a change in about 10ºC when he got his new one. Its also SLI ready for if you intend to get multiple GPUs and has a lot of support for many different pieces of hardware (Only Intel CPUs though). ^_^
