I ordered the parts of my rig. Im upgrading my 10000 year old monitor to a 23" tv (using it as a monitor from now on). Just wanted to know if my gameplay will affect my resolution, and how i could decrrease the resoltuion for a good gaming performance.

i3 2120
radeon HD 7850
450W psu

TVs usually don't make the best monitors. But to answer your question, you want to run your games at the native resolution of your TV for the best viewing experience. TVs usually come in either 720p resolution or 1080p resolution. Your i3 and 7850 will handle either very well, I don't see foresee any problems with performance.
EDIT: But make sure that 450w is a quality branded unit. A quality 450w will handle a 7850 but a junky generic PSU would be taking a risk.
