Hi,

I have just yesterday brought this Budget Gaming PC (From Dino PC)

These are the specs:

CPU: AMD FX 6100 Black Edition
Operating System: Microsoft® Windows 7 Home
Premium 64-bit
Motherboard: Asus M5A78L-M LX V2
Memory: 4GB Corsair 1600mhz Vengeance (1x4GB)
Hard Drive: 500GB S-ATAIII 6.0Gb/s
Optical Drive: 22x DVD±RW DL S-ATA
Graphics card: Onboard Video
Sound card: Onboard 7.1 Audio
Case: NEW! Fractal Design Core 3000
PSU: 550W Corsair VS
Warranty: 3 Year SureCare Warranty
Priority turnaround: Dispatched in 3 working days

£413.52

Basically I dont want to spend too much for gfx, tried to cut down the spec as much as possible to save some of my budget for a gfx card. The cards on the companies website wasn't that good or not much choice so have decided to get one myself.

My budget is £120 ish give or take £10

What would be the best card for this budget. Dont mind AMD or Nvidea

I play normally with my old GTS 450, at 1280x720 or a bit more on res.

Brought PC for Rome 2 TW Mainly in terms of gaming.

P.s Im going to purchase an extra 4gb ram just in case someone was going to mention.

Cheers

Mike,

So your budget is around $150 USD?

A Radeon 7770 Ghz will do nicely for you

or a nvidia gtx 650ti if you are willing to spend a little more

120 pounds would put you into 650ti range

The 7850 1gb is at 125 pounds, get that if you can

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/parts/video-card/#c=118,131,...

The 650ti boost is a bit faster than 7850 in terms of a large game base, dunno release price in UK though
The 7850 has a lot of OC room though while the 650ti is already clocked closer to it's max
Also the 7850 has tomb raider + bioshock infinite (gotta love tomb raider)

Oh shoot I thought that was euros. Such an ignorant american.

In that case I would get a Radeon 7850 1gb

Very good performance for the price

___

nvm on that. they charge you guys much more for video cards over there.

here this 650ti 2gb is good (only 8 pounds more than 1gb version)

I would take this 7850 1gb over the 7790 from scan and the 650ti

Thanks you 2.

I think I'll go with a cheaper version of the 7850 then.

Just got to make sure it will fit in my case once the pc arrives.
