Hi Folks,

I'm looking to put together a "core" build under 500. No monitor, no peripherals, no OS. I'm in NY.

And I'm driving myself nuts figuring out a viable gaming building. I'm a casual gamer and I do not need to play at max settings. I've always been playing games on pre-builts from Dell & HP.

I've been playing with pcpartpicker. I started with the 500 gaming budget article in this site and found myself creeping up to 1,000 build and realized that each incremental component would be better for the long run.

When I started considering 1,200 builds, I've realized I've lost sight of the original concept. I've gone back to the forums and circled back on the 500 gaming budget and it seems like AMD's the easiest way for me to incrementally upgrade over the coming years for my casual gaming.

I've been putting together Intel builds because I was caught up with the 3570k CPU because I live near a Microcenter.

Now that I'm focusing on my budget - it looks like AMD has the budget CPUs.

I'd appreciate feedback on the below build - please note that I just read about the GTX 650 IT Boost card coming out and I think that's probably the card I should pick for this build and I hope to pick it up for under 185.

So, I'm curious - will I experience any bottlenecks with this build?

Thanks - yep, at the moment, I don't anticipate sli/xfire. However, I am prepared to swap out the components for future upgrades. I figure it would be the CPU and then GPU - 1 component at a time until I need to completely replace the Mobo and PSU.
