Hello,
I currently own a http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4154#ov 7870 gigabyte. The 3 fan configuration would be problematic for crossfire I am thinking, mostly due to the proximity of the other card. Those three fans would be blowing directly into the back of the other card. What is this best solution for something like this? I do want to overclock them significantly down the road so efficient cooling is a priority.

We have the same motherboard. I have 2x 7850's in cf temps do just fine, Just make sure you have good airflow going in there.

Its true, I was thinking about just using the bottom slot, but it comes out to only being a couple inches of space which seems like a pretty tight fit. I have the coolermaster storm stryker case with two 120mm intake in the front a 200mm along the top and the 140mm rear mounted with my radiator on it. I was really looking for advice on how to make sure the airflow is optimized so I don't have to worry about temps with OC'ing.
