Alright guys and gals, this is my first build and would like some input. Pretty much got everything that I feel that I should need/want listed here. Everything will be purchased at MicroCenter, except for a few things here and there that I will be getting at BestBuy. Any input would be greatly appreciated. :)

CPU: Intel Core i7 3770K ($229.99)
MOBO: ASUS Sabertooth Z77 ($239.99)
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Series 16GB DDR3-1600 ($99.99)
HDD: WD Black 2TB ($169.99)
SDD: Samsung 840 Pro Series 256GB ($239.99)
PSU: Corsair TX650M 650W ($119.99)
ODD: ASUS BC-12B1ST DVD/BluRay ($59.99)
GRAPHICS: EVGA GTX 660 Ti 3GB ($334.99)
CPUFan: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO ($29.99)
CASE: NZXT Switch 810 Full Tower ($169.99)
KEYBOARD: Razer BlackWidow Ultimate ($139.99)
OS: Windows 8 Pro 64bit ($199.99)

One thing I'm wondering about this build is the PSU, if it's going to be enough and if I should stick with Win8 over Win7??? Personally I'm thinking of going with Win8 since that's what I would think companies would upgrade their firmware/updates to.

Also, I would like to point out I have purchased the Case, Monitor, and Keyboard already since they were on sale, but everything else is up for debate.

Finally, I have not looked into water cooling as of yet. Definitely something I want to look at down the road just not right now.

First off welcome to Tom'shardwares Forums. The list of parts you have selected are great choices and when looking at what you want to do with your computer and what you want to spend you have to make decisions. Do you want to spend what that total at the bottom of the list says or are you looking to get that price lower. You have selected some expensive parts that may not be necessary in a gaming Pc.

1. The cpu an i7-3770k where a i5-3570k would be just as good.
2. The Asus Sabertooth, where you can get a motherboar jst as good for less.
3. The 16gb of ram where you never go over 8gb when gaming.

Now if the price that you ended up with is at your budget then one of the things that you can do is make these changes to lower priced parts and put that savings towards a better video card like a GTX 670.
The power supply will be good enough even if your were to get the GTX 670 and Microsoft will be coming out with service pack for Windows 8 that should make it better.
I guess it comes to your budget and what do you think of making those changes or do you want to keep those parts and just change the video card.

Thanks for your quick input. I'm glad you think everything looks good. As for your suggestions, one of the reasons I chose the sabertooth was partly because it's a good MOBO and the color of the black board was what I was looking for (going for storm trooper black and white). Unfortunately, they don't have it in stock right now at the location by me but was willing to wait for it to be in stock. However, I would look at an alternative.

As for the i7 versus the i5, with the discounts I have it would be around the same price as the i5 which is why I went that rout. A lil better processor for around the same price, why not. This is also the case with the RAM.

Again thanks for the input, I will be looking at looking for some alternatives for those components and see if I can upgrade the video card. And for me the budget wasnt set in stone, rather just the max I want to stay around. If I could get that to around 2k and still come out with a great system then awesome.

Ok , good to know and by living near a Micro Center you have the advantage of getting some of the lowest prices around, since they don't do online the only way to shop at one is to live near one. I have always noticed how low their prices are even when compared to online stores that don't have the overhead. Keep an eye on them weekly as they will have some awesome sales.
I like having a semi-budget which allows you to get what you really want when building.
