So i recently bought a hdmi cable from Costco, thinking that it will make my monitor look better. My question is, i dont have a blue ray cd drive or anything of sort, so me buying that hdmi cable was a waste? Do i just stick with the Dvi Cable? If I do use the HDMI Cable, what difference will i see? Using a Samsung syncmaster 2333 HD tv monitor. with a EVGA GTX 670 FTW sig 2 THANKs~

If your running 1080p or less There is no difference in picture quality, The HDMI eliminates the need for an additional cable for sound if you are using the monitor speakers, That's about it though.
Forgot to add, They both also carry a resolution up to 1920 by 1200, But no difference in video quality between the two.

You may have to go to your control panel and then to your Nvidia control panel, At least thats one way to get to it. Click on the Nvidia control panel, Then on the left of that under Display click on change resolution to make sure it is set a native 1080p.

It sort of looks like a driver issue, I just had a driver update yesterday on my nvidia card. Are your drivers up to date?

I have a little Icon on the right side of my toolbar that I right click and it lets me know if their are updates for my video card. So you are probably well familiar with that. My card is a previous generation and I'm not too familiar with the 670, I apologize but I am a little lost on this problem. Sorry I couldn't help more.
