I just took a hard drive from my old laptop and stuck it into my wife's netbook after it crashed (no idea what I'm doing, but why not?) Everything seems to be working ok, except that the screen is stretched out. I tried to change the screen resolution but it will only give me 800x600. I need to find a way to get it to 1024x600. I tried installing the VGA driver for her netbook but it said the computer didn't meet the minimum requirements. Do I need to mess around with the BIOS? (new word), do more with drivers? Give a poor lost soul some direction here.
