Win 7 Doesn't recognize 2nd HD.

I've upgraded to a 1TB HD. I want to transfer files from my old files drive. But, even though the BIOS and the Win 7 Device Manager says that the 2nd drive is there, the Computer Folder doesn't show it and I therefore can't transfer files from it.

The drives I'm using are a WD1002FAEX as the 1st drive and a WD1600JS as the 2nd drive.

Any thoughts on how I might fix this?

Solution
It's probably not initialized yet.

Right click on computer (in start menu or desktop)>manage. Then go to disk management under storage, right click on your new drive, initialize it and create a simple volume.
