I have acer veriton s460 intel core 2 duo e6550 with 2gb ram pc.i want to buy a gaming card for my pc.is my pc able to handle any graphic card.

as long as you hace a 16x PCIe slot and a power supply capable of said gaming card then yes. though because of the age of your CPU some graphics cards would be bottle necked. if 400w supply a hd7770 might be a good choice.

Looking at the case it is in i would save no. you might be able to fit a very small no so powerful card in there. If you want a gameing right consider looking the deals section of the forum you might find a cheap custom PC there that will fit you needs.

Edit: pre-assembled computers like these, rarely have the room to fit in a add on card, they are ment to be casual computers, word docs, internet, and maybe some media, nothing flashy.

you can put any gpu.i suggest get atleast hd 6570 1gb ddr3.anything less than this is not good for gaming.

you need 1 gb minimum for gaming

people telling you that not to go with high end gpu as it will get bottlenecked(performance limited) as your cpu is not fast enough.
