Hi all.The gpu i have is the VTX3D Radeon HD 7770 x-edition/Ghz edition.I heard the best way to overclock an amd gpu is by using the overdrive feature of ati catalyst client. Is this a good and safe way to oc this gpu or there is anything better? And how i can OC safely.I need a step to step guide to avoid gpu crashes.Thank you all,EternumSpace

http://www.kitguru.net/components/graphic-cards/zardon/vtx3d-hd7770-1ghz-edition-crossfire-review/20/ In this site they are tested the same gpu and they found that the max oc that is able is 1125 core clock and 1225 memory clock. Is this good?Shall i follow this guide? Will is this a good oc percentage for playing games (11%)?

11% is an ok overclock. Personally I have overclocked by around 20% but it depends on your system and what kind of temperatures you are getting

I would slowly up the overclock until you find a setting you are happy with, i.e. no weird coloured blocks (artifacts) and the temps are max 80C when gaming
