Which brand will you choose? and why?

1. Gainward GTX 660 OC Golden Sample 2GB
2. MSI GTX 660 (OC Ed) Twin Frozr III 2GB
3. Asus GTX 660 DirectCU II 2gb/192bit (OC Ed)
4. EVGA GTX 660 FTW 2gb Signature 2

I did not include Gigabyte card since i heard theyre considered as reference cards..please correct...

Thank you guys

The noise of a card is important to me. Looking at the options the ASUS and the MSI card are really quiet it seems, if reviews can be trusted.

The MSI is the fastest clocked wise. But which is the better build wise. Look at these board pics:

also which company is better at RMA?
I say evga wins that hands down.

Here are some more boards for comparision:

I upgraded from a GTX280 to the Asus a few weeks ago.

Massive improvement in noise and heat, I'm really happy with the card. Nothing like as noisy as the '280 when worked hard and completely stable so far. Came in a nice box too ;)

*** Oops - I have the Ti version, sorry - my bad for not reading the OP properly! ***

My experience has been Asus cards are very quiet. They use better cooling/fans then the reference ones EVGA uses. EVGA cards are still good as well. I've owned several EVGA and they are very solid but they're a little on the loud side. I cannot even hear my new Asus card. From what I've been told however, Asus cards tend to have a higher failure rate.

I hope that helps!

Thank you guys for the response... no one mentioned gainward so i guess i have to rule that out...

Im still not convinced which is which... thanks for the links though, reading it now...

i have the gigabyte windforce card, i dont know if its a reference card, but the cooler is not reference and is outstanting, probably the coolest of the lot, with the exception of maybe the asus. my card is oc'd beyond the factory oc and has never gone over 62C at 80% fan speed, i set the fan speed manually and its not loud at 80%, at least not loader than the rest of my case fans.

I have the same question as the OP. Gonna get me the Gainward version soon. I wonder how it differs to all the other manufacturers (Asus, MSI, EVGA) since that's the cheapest among them here in my country.

from the reviews posted above, i can see ASUS outperforms them all with just a few margin, but GIGABYTE is the least power consuming card. MSI is slightly below the ASUS in terms of performance but the coolest of the cards i guess. Thanks to all ho responds.. This makes even easier in narrowing my choices.
