hi all,
i want to know if my current system will be bottleneck or not
if i want upgrade my graphic card to hd 7750(since this graphic card doesnt required power connector, and i think its mainstream card Correct me if i was wrong.)

here is my current system

OS: Win7 32 bit ( which i plan to change to 64bit one)
CPU : E5200 2,5 Ghz (not overclocked)
RAM: 2 GB DDR3 800mhz(i plan to add 4 gb more or 2 gb at least)
Mainboard: G41D3C
PSU:450 W
Graphic card : EAH4350 Silent

i will use my computer mostly to do moderate gaming like, crysis warhead, Orc must die2, Burnout paradise.

those app will run on 1366x768.

and i have 1 question which bothering me a while about the cpu.

if E5200 overclocked to 3 Ghz, can it perform same as E5700?
if yes, why E5200 temp go higher meanwhile E5700 has normal temp?

pls advise me... thanks alot..

If you wanted anything over 4GB of RAM, you would need to install a 64bit version of Win 7. 32bit can only support 4GB max. 8GB of RAM for a gaming PC is the sweet spot. But if you just add on a decent graphics card, you would probably be able to get decent frame rates gaming at 720P. But I would just save up and do a complete system rebuild

i will upgrade it one by one first..
which i think the foremost is my graphic card...

You can do that, but keep in mind, depending on which GPU you go with you may risk bottlenecking because of your CPU. What is your budget for a new GPU?

can i get a noticable increase performance if i just upgrade my graphic card and add ram?
since my cash really tight..
maybe i will to upgrade my cpu into quadcore cpu in future...

as for gaming, i dont really care about effect, smooth texture, physic, anti-aliasing.. etc etc all i need is a nice fps around 50-60..

that 7770 will need power connector(i think), which my system didnt have..
i need graphic card only draw from pci-e which i know is a decent 7750 ( tell me if there are any graphic card have higher specification than this one, which didnt use power connector).

You could try looking at the GTX650, but it is more expensive. I am pretty sure it only draws power from the mainboard, but with your power supply and CPU, it is a tough call as to how much I would invest.

sadly it does need power connector as stated on its web

You are right. So as you see, with your current system, you are rather limited by how much you expand. So unless you start someplace else, like the CPU+Mobo and/or the power supply, you are kinda stuck with lower end GPU's.

okay then i think i will stick at 7750 for now...

as for 2nd question about CPU..

E5200=2,5 Ghz
E5700= 3 Ghz

if E5200 overclocked to 3 Ghz can it perform well like E5700?

if yes, why E5200 emitted more heat than E5700 does?
