Corrupt Windows 7; No Installation Disk! Can I wipe the HDD from cmd.exe?

Hi! I've been building my first rig, and I decided to use a 750Gb Seagate Barracuda from and old E-machines desktop. After eight hours of troubleshooting last night, I've come to the conclusion that I have a horribly corrupted copy of Windows. In fact; the only thing I can actually get to work is the Console.

I have no reset disks, boot drives, or backups that I can default to (I was planing on wiping it anyway), and I am planing to install Ubuntu. Basically, my question is: Is there a way to wipe the HDD from the cmd line? Thanks!

I would just delete the partition when you install Ubuntu.
