How much RAM do i have?

Ok So i have 4.00gbs of RAM installed Total ram is 3.48(from components) and only 2.14 gbs of ram available. My total Virtual Memory is 11.5gbs and page file size is 9.77gbs. What should i change on the page file and how much RAM does all this make up? I Run games that need like 4 gbs on high graphics so i just want to know the real Amount of RAM i have. Just to make sure the page file isn't to much or to little. I Run MINECRAFT useing 3gbs of RAM and my server useing 2 gbs when it says i only have 2.14. So how much ram can i actually go up to?

2.14 gb of ram is the amount of ram you have that is free. The other portion is currently being used by programs or windows. Pagefile uses your HD as ram so that doesnt affect your ram amount. Do you have a 32 bit OS? If so you can only use 3.5 gb of the ram installed

if your running a 32 bit os....4gb is the max addressable ram but this also includes video card ram. so your machine is displying the correct amount of ram for the OS and system you have. i suggest migrating to win 7 64bit

I have 64 bit windows 7 service pack 1. But what does the virtual memory do does it change into ram when i dont have enough because I can use 6gbs of RAM then it says only 2.14 useable. But it still runs fine.

page file is 9gb!!!...wow....your hdd is starting to offset your ram.

its not the page file that doing as it is virtual...its his video card. i had the same issues when running 32bit windows. the video cards ram counts towards total addressable ram. they talk about it here

To answer your question, you have 4 gigs of ram and it sounds like you need more. You should upgrade to 8 and yes, reduce your pagefile. Relying on your HD for fake ram really slows down your system.

it is not the page file.....its the video card as i sated and linked...here Microsofts support page telling you haw page file has no effect on total available system ram as it is VIRTUAL...

Lowered the page file it changed some stuff
Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 4.00 GB
Total Physical Memory 3.48 GB
Available Physical Memory 2.12 GB
Total Virtual Memory 6.89 GB
Available Virtual Memory 5.47 GB
Page File Space 3.42 GB
Page File C:\pagefile.sys

Heres my Processor AMD A6.3420M APU WITH RADEON(TM) HD GRAPHICS 1.50 GHz
Is that my video card? Im not seeing my video card In the control panel

you dont have a gpu...its a integrated graphics with the cpu/mobo.

So How can i free up more ram/get more without upgradeing 8gbs because this computer runs things fine useing like 4gbs of ram when i only have 2.14 useable.

if u have windows 64....your integrated gpu will eat the ram no matter what...you need new higher density sticks. no other option.

i read an corrected my post....but your integrated GPU will eat your ram up no matter what. you need more ram its the only fix. i am sorry the news is not better.
