First of all I'd like to say hello to everyone here on toms hardware, long time lurker and reader of the forums here and I've decided to take the plunge and sign up.
I'm looking to buy everything within the next month or 2, my budget for hardware would have to fall somewhere in the $1000 range, I can go a bit over if there is a particular component worth grabbing.
System Usage will primarily be gaming and moderate web browsing. I'm looking for a 3 monitor setup but the monitor budget is not included currently.
CPU, mobo, RAM, GPU, and SSD are the primary components I'm looking to upgrade. (possible SLI) I would like to re use my power supply and case and HDD.
PSU: 1000w Xion

Case: Antec 1200

Current GPU: GTX 560ti

I am using windows 7. Preferred website would be newegg as I have had good experience with them in the past but I am willing to shop at other reputable dealers with good customer service.
I will not be overclocking this system as I lack the know how to do so safely.
Monitor resolution will be dependent on what size screen I can get but I am aiming for an HD setup.
I would like a quiet PC, the triple display will be for Iracing. I also play battlefield, simcity, Masseffect, and Starcraft 2.
What I am looking for:
-An intel i5 processor (Most of what I have read says the i7's are generally not worth getting unless you are planning to do video rendering, and are generally not worth the expense if your primary function is gaming)
-Will it be worth it to SLI the 560ti I currently have? I have read several reviews and this particular GPU scales quite well with SLI.
-PCIe 3.0 for future proofing.
-There are so many chipsets out there right now I'm not really sure what one will be best for my needs (H67. P64, Z77, etc)
