I'm starting up my new build for the first time. I turned it on and went to the BIOS, had full mouse and keyboard function. I selected my optical drive as the priority boot drive to install windows 7. Saved and exited and restarted. It says "windows is loading files", then it takes me to a windows 7 install screen, except now I have no mouse or keyboard function. Any thoughts?

Solution
That normally happens when you plug the mouse and keyboard into USB3 (blue) ports. Windows doesn't have native drivers for USB 3 yet so the keyboard and mouse fail when you try to install Windows. Plug them into the older USB 2 (black) ports.
