i know the 965 is cheaper, but gonna be doing some heavy gaming and want the most bang without having to shell out for the 8350 anatech was saying the 965 but i want real world results not some cheap build results
I'd bet on the 8320 for future builds. with the upper end consoles using the 8 cores(ps4 being confirmed, xbox being one of the possible rumors) expect core optimization for some ports.
It's the superior CPU, I don't know what you're seeing.

thread wise for things like winrar, and stuff it won on but gaming wise it got beat in the FPS department, ALTHO for fails sake i might have been looking at the wrong parts lol
edit: i was, 965 beats the fx for editing purposes but thats not what im gonna be using it for

get the fx 8320 it performs better in modern games and since developers in the future will be utilizing more cores and threads in games it will also be better in the long run
ok update for anybody still watching this, went with the 965be (it was cheaper) oc'd to 4.0, sapphire HD 7950(oc'd to just over a ghz, core and 1.5ghz memory), 600watt corsair PSU, working awesomely, for what its worth i cant tell the difference in the ~60fps i get with BF3 maxed, and the 35-40fps with Crysis 3 full on maxed
