I am trying to install Windows 7 onto an IBM Xseries 226 8648-2by Server. When I get to the driver section I cannot see the SCSI drives I have created. I have tried to load the Ultra320 64-bit SCSI Drivers v 7.00.00.12 for Windows 7 and Server 2008R2 but it still does not work. I have tried to install Windows XP the same way with the correct XP driver but still no joy.

Can anyone help?

Have you used the RAID BIOS utilities to define the SCSI Drives for logical use, if the volumes are not defined from the physical drives they will not show up as disk to the OS no matter what drivers you use, I can't remember the combo of keys but during BIOS POST a message should come up asking if you would like to configure your RAID Controller/array (normally Ctrl+R or Ctrl+S).

I have double check today as I have been off since my last post and there is nothing in either the config or RAID controller set up about defining the SCSI Drives for logical use.
