hi, im new to TH, well, read alot from it before i bought/built my first ever gaming/porn rig, haha :D.

anyway. to the point, i have the AMd fx-8150 processor, running with:

Asus sabertooth 990fx motherboard
Scout sniper "2 maybe" case
AMD fx-8150 processor
Corsair vengeance 8gb(2x4gb) 1333hz
Radeon HD xfx 6870DD graphics card
128gb corsair force 3 SSD
2TB seagate barracuda
750psu

Running either windows 7 or 8 (dual boot).

my idol temperatures like now just sat typing are

CPU 32c
V-core1 33c
V-core2 29c

but when, for example i start to play NFS hot persuit, or sniper elite v2 it shoots up to like 50c, i dont even want to put the settings on ultra on SEV2 because its like 50c on medium settings.

CPU has stock cooler, and im new/ a noob to pc gaming ( console whore mainly).
CPU has had nothing changed, no OC pure out of the box stuff.

Case has 1 front fan, pulling 1 top 120mm pulling and 1 rear exaust, also vent in side of case for extra fans, havnt got yet.

Maybe the fact that i run it on a 42" 1080p 3D smart tv makes a difference? but i dont think so, pci-e1 is a 22 degrees c.

sorry im going on, but lastly is it normal for my V-core temperature to rise almost exactly in line with my cpu temps, eg: cpu running at 49c and v core is at 50c?

thank you in advance any reply is helpful :) thanks.:)

My fx-8150 usally runs at 50-55c under heavy gaming battlefield 3 max settings at 1920x1280 but when I run prime 95 on the cpu in less than a minute the temperature spikes up to about 65c and i have to stop the process. anyway my computer never revs up that much
