xfi extreme music - should I upgrade?

I have the xfi extreme music card which is about 6 years old. I use the computer mostly for gaming and occasionally listening to music. I have 5.1 surround headphones. Is this audio card still ok or would I have benefit in upgrading to something new? If so what would you recommend?

This card is still great. Don't need to upgrade just yet. It's sound processor will give you best from games for time to come.

I would not upgrade.

I agree with Feldmarschall, your current sound card is an excellent device and you would see little (if any) benefit of upgrading. In fact, you might even lose some fidelity under certain conditions.

Save your money for other upgrades. Good luck!
