Best for gaming

Solution
If you're judging purely on gaming performance then the i5 2500k and i5 3750k are the top gaming CPUs. The FX 8350 is on the heels of them however. The other advantage the Intel CPUs have right now is the PCIe 3.0 bus. AMD is still on the 2.0 bus. You really only notice it however if you start using SLI and Crossfire. If you're looking at a single GPU solution it doesn't matter hardly as much. Really I think either of those CPUs is a great choice.
