I wish to upgrade my laptops' RAM and GPU, as well as remove the CD-ROM and insert a ssd in the space with a ssd caddy.

will these parts work with my laptop?

RAM= Kingston HyperX predator http://www.kingston.com/en/memory/hyperx/predator

GPU= Nvidia Geforce GTX 670M
http://www.geforce.com/hardware/notebook-gpus/geforce-gtx-670m

SSD= Kingston HyperX enthusiast 240gb
http://www.kingston.com/en/ssd/hyperx

If possible, could I upgrade to 16gb ram, or this there no room?

my laptop is hp pavilion dv6
lifetimemory.com 8gb ram
nvidia gt 650m
intel i7 -3610 @ 2.3ghz
64bit windows 8 pro

Memory probably has to be SO-DIMM, so not the ones you linked.

GPU is likely not user-replaceable (as stated, need your make and model).

SSD should work except on specific, older chipsets (could not get an intel 320 SSD to work with an nForce 650 for example - worked fine with a new mobo).

1) See NO reason to change RAM, unless you Require more than 8 gigs.
.. There s very little performance gain going to Higher speed ram.
.. Higher capacity, currently 8 gigs is pretty much the "sweet spot"

2> SSD,
.. Should be no problem. Performance wise it would depend on on the controller used for the DVD drive, if it is controlled by the Intel Controller, should be fine. If they used a seperate 3rd party controller you might have reduced performance.
.. Only advantge in using the SSD is if you are using it as an OS + Program drive. In whcih case, I'd recommend putting it in the HDD bay and movingyour HDD over to replace your DVD, or Just buy a 2.5 IN HDD encloser and use it as a removable storeage drive.

ON GPU:
.. Generally the cooling is based on stock configuration. Replacing the GPU with a Higher end unit may result in over heating. Then there is also the question of can the Supply voltage circuits handle the increased Current draw.
.. In many laptops the dGPU is solder in and therefor NOT user replacable.
