Trying to help my dad build a new rig. Thanks in advance everyone.

Approximate Purchase Date: The sooner the better

Budget Range:1400-1700

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, music, streaming

Are you buying a monitor: Yes - would like a 18-20 inch


Do you need to buy OS: Yes - windows 7

Location: United States, east coast

Parts Preferences: Intel CPU, the rest can be whatever

Overclocking: No

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe eventually (years down the road)

Your Monitor Resolution: Don't know this, would depend on the monitor suggested

Additional Comments: Going to be playing Diablo 3 and MMOs. Also need keyboard and mouse (don't have to be anything fancy), and would like a bose speaker system so an upgraded sound card as well.

bigcyco1's system looks pretty good but I would like to make a suggestion. If you're going to be doing some extra things, such as streaming while you game. Since your budget is also a little bigger then most I would suggest upgrading from the Core i5 3570k to a Core i7 3770k. You'll gain hyperthreading, which will help with some of those extra back ground tasks and give you a little more growing room for the future. Since after this build - if you ever want to upgrade your CPU you will have to upgrade your motherboard as well.
