I have an Asus G46VW that I purchased from best buy. The laptop had Win 8 but I installed win 7 into it. The laptop has intel HD4000 integrated graphics, as well as a GTX660m. My question is how can I run my games through the GTX and not the integrated graphics? I have tried primarily to select the 3d program from the NVidia control panel, but when I alt-tab out of the game I see that the game is running through the integrated graphics. When I disable the integrated graphics from device manager, my screen goes black, and the only way to see anything is to plug an hdmi into the mini display port.(which is on the same side of the laptop as the GTX) Can anyone think of a way to run the GTX 660m solely with out the integrated graphics running? (i.e. similar to a desktop setup?
