realistically, the game industry is unanimously starting to adopt AMD Radeon over Nvidia. Sure Nvidia is more powerful but power isn't everything when you're becoming hated by the industry.

He isnt looking at spending 1K on a card to play "BF3, Minecraft and Day-Z". for the price range that 99% of people use, sub 1K, nvidia has AMD playing catchup.

AMD has price. Nvidia has power.

iirc, nVidia generally does a little better in BF3, but I have not seen what difference the latest AMD drivers made.
Also, do note the results of those FCAT tests. For now, Crossfire is a waste. FRAPS numbers will be much higher, but what a gamer actually sees will be the same as (or worse than) what a single card can produce. It has to do with a large number of what the articles call "runt" frames. Read them, they're really very interesting.

May be better then a titan, but if you think the titan is top, then you have forgotten the GTX 690. cause it still doesnt beat that.

link? article? evidence to support your claims?

Hi :)

The review was done HERE at Toms... just search for it...

All the best Brett :)

You must be referring to Sony and Microsoft adopting AMD for their consoles, which has nothing to do with discrete graphics card market. Intel has over 70% of the GPU market share, though you don't see anyone gaming on an Intel GPU.

Nvidia being hated by the industry is plain nonsense. They simply can't beat AMD's APU in cost efficiency. On the discrete market, however, the fight is just as tough as it has always been. For a conscious buyer, brand choice will always depend on how much they are willing to spend.

My perception is that Nvidia enjoys a bit of prestige on the 600 series simply because AMD fumbled their 7000 series launch a bit. It took them a while to fix their platform and by the time the 7970 GHZ hit the streets the GTX 680 already had a name. Hardware-wise, there is a fight at every price class, which we should be glad of.

You are either trolling or very obtuse. The article I showed, shows how any crossfire card is going to have issues. In some games, not even giving an real world advantages, other than posting a large number with Fraps.

Hi :)

From your link >>>>> quote" the board manages to edge out EVGA's GeForce GTX 690 in a number of the performance measurements. " unquote...

All the best Brett :)
