Toshiba Laptop, shipped off to debit, tech reinstalled W7; Exactly what I informed them I had done twice b4 being shipped to Toshiba depo, they must of had ear plugs in. Return to me and on the phone again, pissed-off might I add and down she goes again. Kind of difficult for me to get work done with the same issue, and wasting my time on the phone with tech support, having me shipping to head office this time. Great, professionals will get the blooming LpTp fixed! Knock-Knock, yaaaaa its back, fixed and ready to go, dammit! Read the notes to see what I expected to read, being the laptop to be repaired for sure. Nope, NOTHING. They stared at it and reported it done nothing wrong for four days of being plugged in. Well yes, I am thinking, IDIOTS, since sitting waiting for the laptop to shut down, there would be nothing wrong with it? Wouldn't it of been great and they actually put time and effort applying some fingers on the keyboard and actually giving the laptop something to do whichever shows the tech guy there is a problem as described in report indicating in detail what was done when the unexpected shutdown occurred? Ya I'm a bit disappointed with one of ourleading mmanufacturers intelligence. Anyways they done nothing and I feel like deja vu with a return call from now a manager requesting it go back, and she would send another box to ship the laptop to the first intelligence who repaired "NOT" the first time by a third reinstall. I feel so relieved with this direction! I also feel like I am being given the run around by this cheep-ass manufacturing business. Well here we go again. I need a STRONG SEDATIVE. Any Ideas regarding the initial unexpected log offs while dictating/using the blasted keyboard on my Toshiba Laptop "Satellite" 750 I think????? HELP PLEASE!!

Try to go to power optiosn in control panel and turn options "when you close lid... do nothing" .. "when you press turn off.. do nothing"... "when you press sleep ... do nothing" so it should prevent normal log off which can occur by pressing some keys on keyboard. Try :)

If the letter you included was as convoluted and hard to read as that post, I would have sent it back too. lol.

Is your computer going to "sleep" on you and that's why it's shutting down? Does it just log off or actually shut down.

Again, it's hard to tell from your post.
