hi i just finished my first desktop build yesterday and everything seems to be working great except for my fan controller. i have a total of 8 fans in my case 6 of which are connected to my 6 Channel Fan Controller that i purchased new on ebay and the other two, one is my cpu cooler and the other is connected to a 4 pin molex and runs constantly. as far as i know i have it hooked up correctly but for some reason the lcd displays on the fan controller aren't lit up or anything they just stay blank. i did see them light up once yesterday but it was only for a minute and i'm not sure what caused them to come on or go away. i did notice that although the lcds remain black and don't light up, when i turn the knobs that turn the fan up and down, i am able to turn on two of the fans on and up as far as they will go with no problems (still no display on controller) but when i try to turn the knobs to turn on the other fans, my computer starts beeping very loudly and continuously until i turn them back off (with the first two remaining fully on)? i'm not sure what could be causing this unless it has something to do with lack of power somewhere but its frustrating me. my cpu fan is connected to my mainboard and is working fine and thankfully it alone is seeming to keep my cpu and entire system at around 28 degrees Celsius which is acceptable but i still would like to get all of my fans functioning so i am able to play around with my new build and also just because i paid for the components and it would be nice if they worked when i turned them on. on that note, i am begging for someone to please help me to figure this out. i have included the details of my build below and please let me know if i've left something out or if you need any further info:

You're motherboard should have absolutely nothing to do with those fans as they shouldn't be plugged in to the mobo. Make sure the fans are ONLY plugged into the fan controller. (besides the two you already have on the mobo)

What fans are you trying to use and does the fan controller work when only a couple of fans are plugged into it? I would try a combination fiddling around with the number of fans plugged in and the fan controller plugs. Might be some defective fan pulling to much current. Might be a shoddy connection, heck it could be that you are trying to use 8 5k rpm deltas on a 200w psu :)

Also might not hurt to try and plug the into molex connections if you don't get anywhere with the above methods.

Ebay might not be the best place to get parts. are you sure its your mobo beeping and not the fan controller?
