Recently my Gigabye 560 GTX ti stopped sending a signal to my monitor. To check to see if the issue was with the monitor, I placed a MSI GTX 260 and tried to see if a signal would be sent to the monitor, it did not. Suspecting the issue may be the power supply, I cleaned it out and then started up the computer and it was clear the motherboard as well as the graphics card was still receiving power (the graphics card fan was on). As of now my computer starts up but my display does not receive a signal from either graphics card. My onboard graphics card is also not sending a signal to my monitor, so when my computer boots up there is no display. I suspect the issue may be the mother board, but with seemingly all other things functioning I am not sure. How should I proceed? thank you for your help.

I have since connected the monitor to a labtop and cloned the display. The monitor worked fine. I used both the DVI and HDMI cord both worked. Furthermore I have attempted to reset the CMOS. Since my Gigabyte motherboard did not have a reset switch, followed the second option listed here:

http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/faq-page.aspx?fid=1758&pid=2844

I first attempted the "short" the jumper by using a flat head screw driver. Please note I did this after disconnecting the power cord as well as the power supply to the mother board. This did not work.

Next I took out the battery and placed it back in. This still did not fix my problem, ie the display was still recieving no signal so i was unable to verify that I had reset the CMOS.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I am having a similar problem - with a Gigabyte EP43-UD3L Motherboard: Replaced the video card with a Gigabyte GT630 (was a GeForce 200) and removed and then swapped the two RAM cards about to no avail. Im finding it is only AFTER the computer has been running awhile that it takes 3 or so re-starts after going to sleep before the monitor responds. I'm thinking its a glitchy motherboard.
