laptop wont boot. file: \Boot\BCD Status: 0xc00000f

When I go into Aptio Setup (F2 or del key), I am unable to change anything other that the date. I believe that I want to change the boot Option Priority so that the machine will boot from my Energency disk.

All help will receive good Karma!

Thanks - T2

I do have an emergency disk. I cannot get it to boot. F11 and F12 at startup leaves me at the Windows Boot Manager screen.

the DEL key on startup takes me to the AMI setup utility. I am UNABLE to select (change) the boot order at this point. The option is there but I cannot "arrow" to it (or anything else other than the date).

My thought is I need to boot this lapper from my emergency disk to correct the problem/issue. Why would I not be able to do this from the setup utility.

I have AMI BIOS version 205.

Hello MEATHEAD here When you get to your boot manager screen select optical drive
"ATAP I CD ROM : HL DT (ST DVD RAM) (GT32N) or something similar and hit enter
then it should prompt you to hold down any key to proceed
