Hey guys I just finished building my new x79 build - it's the first time i'll be using a pc i've built and moving from mac.
It's using an i73820 on an asus p9x79 pro with 16gb of 1.5v 1600mhz before any of you ask. Today when I finished my build and made sure it posted I installed windows 7 via usb - pretty normal stuff. However upon install I found that my network wasn't being picked up on by my ethernet. I'm running it through a tp link 500mb/s before anyone asks. But as I was saying my network isn't being found despite the fact my tp links are functional and connected. I have a wpa2 password on my network however it's giving me no place to enter the password as I can not find the router. Please note, my new build doesn't have a network card/ wifi card as I thought it would connect off the ethernet fine as it is, if I'm wrong please say so as I can't download any drivers until I can get the internet going on this device.

The Drivers for the onboard ethernet are on the motherboard driver CD install them from there, one they are installed you will need to go to the network adaptor properties in the device manager and enter the encryption type and password there.
