Solution
Install classicshell on Windows 8, it gives you back your start button, makes your pc boot right to the desktop, gets rid of the charm corners and it's free and you'll never see anything that looks like windows 8 again.

You will have to go through your hardware piece by piece and find drivers from the individual manufacturers of the product. I have done something like this recently and I would really simply advise against it. If you don't like the look of windows 8 use one of those programs that makes it look just like windows 7. That will be a much easier way to solve your problem. Otherwise, happy hunting for device drivers

As far as I know, many of the drivers based on Win8 do work just fine on W7.
More often than not I've seen driver downloads that group the same file under vista/7/8 compatibility.

I agree with imomun, however, but if you want to go the rough way, then I think you will be just fine.

Look at the driver downloads for a similar laptop that came with windows 7. It might have been last year's model.
Or, you could try to install the windows 8 drivers, they should generally be built to be used on either 7 or 8.

And... it might be a good time to do the install on a SSD. You will be amazed at how much better your laptop will run.
