Hi i have just recently purchased an Asus GTX 660 dcu 2, and im wondering weather to purchase another one to SLI.

However i am concerned my computer spec's are not the greatest to SLI this card and I would not gain much more performance or possible bottleneck's? Heat problem's and performance issues with my Motherboard are my main worries.

I would like some advice and it would be much appreciated thank's.

My spec's are: Antec 1200
i7 920 do 2.6ghz
6 gb OCZ DDR3 RAM
Asus GTX 660 dcu 2
Gigabyte EX58-UD3R
Corsair TX650W psu
CPU COOLED BY FANS ALSO SYSTEM
Windows 8 x64 pro

Your CPU is fine. It still does surprisingly well compared to newer CPU's. That said, the 920 is an excellent overclocker. If you got an aftermarket HSF, you can OC it to 3.5ghz with only one setting change, and 4ghz is on the table if you worked for it.

This has a stock clocked i7 920 in it, which does great in its own right, but with a little OC, it goes neck and neck with the 3770k at stock.

Thanks lads for your answer's im going to go ahead and get another one as I can't realistically upgrade cpu etc at the moment. So if I wish to keep up with crisis 3 as that's what im playing but need more graphic's then I agree SLI 660 will be fine. Heard they work 20% faster than a gtx 680 when sli anyway. Should fit in shouldn't it as the PCI-E slot's are quite close together on the Gigabyte EX58-UD3R mobo. Thanks again

I'd recommend spending $20-$30 and get a HSF so you can OC the CPU some. In some games, I find that an OC goes a long ways to help minimum FPS.
