Last night we added many photos from a camera to an empty flash drive. When I connected to my laptop, all the photos showed up. Then a few more photos (from an i-phone) were added to the flash drive, and when I attempted to open the flash drive I get a message that I need to format the device before I can use it. On another laptop the message is that the files are not in a format that can be read by this device. Help!

try error-checking, defragmentation, uninstall driver and reinstall it.................. even then if it doesn't work, then you have to format
