Super Gluing the MB standoffs?

Hello,

I had a quick question, that hopefully warrants a quick answer...

I was wondering if anybody has in the past, or can otherwise encourage/shut down the idea of super-gluing the motherboard standoffs into the case. I ask because I am about to begin my first build, and I tend to screw screws into their holes very tightly - I like screwing things it's what I like to do everyone has their "things" don't judge me.

In light of that situation, I expect I will be screwing in the motherboard's mounting screws in tightly, and I have heard that in doing so, I run the risk of screwing too tightly, to the extent of un-screwing the standoffs as well if I ever have to take out or replace the motherboard... Please advise.

Thanks,
Cark

If you like tightening screws so much, why are you worried about unscrewing the MB standoffs? It will just be another opportunity to screw them back in.

Most standoffs are hex-shaped and can loosened with a small wrench. If, when removing the MB, you unscrew a standoff instead of the MB screw, you would still be able to remove the MB with the standoff attached, then use a wrench to get the standoff off the MB.
