Hi,
I am building my own Computer.
It has a Cooler master 700w power supply, a Asus p8-z68-v motherboard and a I7 cpu.
I have connected everything up except i get confused around the powerconnectors.
So i plugged the large 24 pin one in. But then there is an 8 pin socket. The power supply has all different things like 4 pin connectors and 6pin connectors.
When i connect a 4pin connector and turn the power on the computer makes noise for a few seconds then dies. If i plug a 6pin in it doesn't do anything. and If i dond't plug anything in it stays on until i switch it of but does not boot anything. it does not bleep or anything it just runs the fans.
This is my first build in a long time! please help.
