My internet connection drops randomly on my wired desktop. Every few hours it my computer will still detect that its part of a network but wont have an internet connection. It is always fixed for a few hours after I restart or reset the ethernet adapter. Also, i have 2 Ethernet ports on my computer and this happens to both of them. Every other device in my house still has a connection when the happens. Does this sound like a driver issues? hardware issues in my network? Firewall or AV?

Ho sorry, was misreading (English isn't my primary language) make sure you deactivate the power management of your lan port (enable by default) it can shut off your port when it's not used for an hour or 2...

i'm pretty sure it's interferences on your channel, you are maybe too far from the router and/or aside of interfering devices (Cellphones, microwaves, cordless phones on 2.4ghz and 5ghz band and many more)

You could try to go in the router settings and change the channels from default (Auto in general) to another channel (i recommend 1 or 11 as they're in the extremity and are less suceptible to interference from what i've seen in my region)

You could use inssider to find what channel is the less used in your perticular region and set your router to that channel
