I have a fairly basic computer, AMD Athlon 64x2 dual core 2.6 GHZ on a Foxconn A6V MX 0A mobo, 4g RAM.
I updated the 400w psu to a 500w ocz and added an ASUS ATI Radeon 4890, every thing was going fine playing online games, with the settings in game turned to low as any higher and it caused too much lag, then having played the previous night the comp wouldn't boot up next day and had red lights on the gpu, so I took out the gpu and did a reboot in safe mode and comp worked fine so the problem seems to be the gpu.
Have I damaged the gpu with too low wattage in the psu? what do the red lights indicate? is the gpu totally compatible with the system?
