Screen turns black and then nothing happens ? You can try repairing your windows using your original windows dvd. You have to boot from the Dvd and to do repair a current install instead of install windows. If you don't care about your files, you can also reinstall windows.

Are your graphics via card or motherboard? If card, just for giggles, disconnect the card and plug into the motherboard.
